About the Role

All American Rescue & Safety Solutions, is hiring a Health & Safety Specialist (HSS) to support active construction and industrial sites across CT, NY, MA, and RI. This is a part-time, in-person consulting role with a focus on OSHA compliance, job site inspections, safety documentation, and contractor oversight. Projects are long-term (1–2 years), with potential for extension. You'll help maintain a safe work environment through hands-on safety management and field support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enforce client-specific Health & Safety Plans on construction and industrial job sites

  • Conduct daily site safety walkthroughs and morning briefings with subcontractors

  • Perform site inspections and track weekly safety reports and trends

  • Assist with orientation, toolbox talks, and regulatory training sessions

  • Support development of site-specific documentation: LOTO, confined space, fall protection, etc.

  • Maintain accurate safety records including incident reports, permits, and JHAs

  • Participate in and support safety audits, hazard assessments, and program evaluations

  • Provide feedback on safety and environmental concerns to site management

  • Stay up to date with OSHA standards and complete ongoing safety development as needed



  • OSHA 30-hour certification (construction or general industry)

  • 5+ years of experience in safety management (construction, power, or industrial preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and site compliance practices

  • First Aid/CPR certified

  • Physical ability to navigate active construction sites and respond to emergencies

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field (preferred)



  • ASP, CHST, or CSP certification

  • OSHA 510 and/or OSHA 500 Trainer certification

  • Experience with confined space, trenching, fall protection, or hazardous materials safety
